How does PRP® for hair loss work?
PRP® therapy is a treatment that is based on growth factors naturally present in your own blood. As such, a small amount of blood is taken from the client and then spun (centrifugation) to separate the red cells and granulocytes from the plasma.
PRP® contains vital growth factors, including Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF), Transforming Growth Factor group (TGF),Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), Fibroblast and Growth Factor (FGF). These serve to stimulate the development of new hair follicles as well as dramatically improve the condition and health of those that exist.
The platelet concentrate and plasma is then collected into a syringe to be used for the PRP® cosmetic treatment.
PRP® is effective in preventing hair loss for men and women and for treating male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness.

What are dermal fillers? While dermal fillers are casually known as “wrinkle fillers,” they can do much more than just smooth out wrinkles, although they are excellent at this too! Here are a few of the common issues dermal fillers can help address: Smooth out lines around nose and mouth (a.k.a. marionette lines, smile lines, and parentheses) Enhance & restore volume to sunken cheeks or temples Diminish vertical lip lines Plump & enhance the lips Smooth out a chin crease Improve symmetry among facial features
-
Am I a good candidate for dermal fillers? You should consider dermal fillers if you: Are concerned about moderate-to-deep lines between the nose and mouth. Wish you had plumper, fuller lips. Are facing age-related volume loss in cheeks. Desire natural-looking results without surgery.
-
How long does the treatment take?A dermal filler treatment typically takes anywhere between 30 and 45 minutes.
-
What results will I see? You’ll enjoy smoother lines and wrinkles, greater volume, and/or plumper lips immediately after treatment. In most cases, these results will last for up to 1 year.
-
Is there any downtime? After a filler treatment, you may face minor side effects like redness, swelling, and tenderness, at the injection site. You can treat them with a cold compress and expect them to disappear within 2 to 3 hours or a few days. You may also experience some bruising that will likely last anywhere between a few days and never more than two weeks. To resolve it faster, you can use Arnica Montana before treatment and/or take digestive enzyme. We also recommend you ice your treatment area for the initial 24 to 48 hours several times a day and apply a warm compress to the bruised area for the following 48 to 72 hours. In addition, it’s important that you massage your face after your injections for 5 days, 5x/day, for 5 minutes each time. If you don’t notice any lumps, however, skip the massage process. The day after treatment, refrain from exercise and rigorous activity! Fortunately, you can wash your face thoroughly and resume your daily responsibilities right away. Be to avoid UV exposure, massages, or facials for at least 1 week after treatment.
